Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Alex gets to go to his first Cardinal's Game! Our seats were great - thanks to Mike's girlfriend, Jamie. Alex said he had lots of fun - plus, we got him a Fred Bird from the Build a Bear shop - so, that kept him happy. We had a sound put in Fred Bird. He plays "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" and Alex is slowing learning the words. Except for the number of strikes - he did pretty good this time...

He loves to watch his videos so, I bribed him into singing by saying he could watch it when it was over. That's why he says "Let me look" when he is finished singing - CRAZY KID!

Drake's Lemon Face

Okay - payback time. Aunt Sarah loves to give kids lemons to see the face they make - well, kids other than hers. I am pretty sure we were letting Alex suck on a lemon when he was somewhere b/t 6-8 months old. Anyway, I didn't have my video camera back then so I didn't get to capture his faces, but we were ready when it was Drake's turn. Alex always wants lemonade. I wonder if that had anything to do with Aunt Sarah giving him lemons when he was a baby.

Say CHEESE

I was trying to take a video of Alex singing us a song, but as soon as I aimed the camera at him all he would do was say "CHEESE", but not just once - he said it over and over and over. Do you think I take too many pictures? No, that can't be it! He is definately a photographer's son!

Putting socks on - ALL BY MYSELF

Alex's newest catch phrase is "all by myself." He put the first sock on in his room and came out yelling, "I put my sockon all by myself." I tried to capture him going the other one, but it didn;t go as well as the first. He is so silly!

Magic House

It was First Community Credit Union night at the Magic House. Alex loved it. His favorite thing was in the new section. A musical instrument made with wood, frying pans, and balls. He just kept going back for more!!

Alex meets the Fence - face first

This was so funny. What bad parents we are... I bought Alex what I call a hopper - basically a ball to bounce on. He loved it, but there was definately a learning curve! My mom and dad were on their deck. Rick and I were in the yard watching him learn to hop. He was doing pretty good until the fence jumped out in front of him. I think I hear my Dad say turn around right before he bounces straight into the fence - Oops. In our defense, I did not think he would bounce into it - HE DID! Then he stands up turns around and says, "I'm Okay." I had to share this one because I think it is pretty good for a laugh. Watch and see what I mean...

London Bridges

So, we have quite the little singer. We purchased furniture today and to keep Alex occupied while doing paperwork, I asked him to sing us a song and since he is Rick's son, he started singing "Shout it out Loud" by KISS! Rick was so proud, I was laughing, and I am not sure what the salewoman thought of us! Anyway, in this video, he is singing in the car - one of his favorite things to do. He decided to sing London Bridges - his version. I just kept praying he would say "my fair lady" (the last line of the song) - no such luck! He certainly has the head bobbing thing going on. We just need to work on the words.
